The idea was inspired by the recent Starbucks rollout of Oleato, a line of drinks that include olive oil. I'm not a huge fan of this idea, but it got me thinking about other ways to innovate with coffee.

I quickly remembered a small coffee food truck in London that adds espresso ice cubes. It's a great idea as it prevents your iced espresso from tasting watered down as the ice melts.

Starbucks

Spending most of my time in suburbia, Starbucks is my local coffee shop. So I started thinking about how Starbucks might take espresso ice cubes to a level that would make it a big idea.

I focused the initial stages of the idea spec on the background and story leading up to the idea, and then explaining the idea in a very simple manner while leaving room for iteration and suggestions.

I then enabled the public view of this document so that I can share it with anyone, even if they don't have a Living Spec account.

I might iterate on the idea as more ideas come to mind, or as I get feedback from others. I might also add a few more pages to the document to explore the idea. Or if someone from Starbucks sees the idea and wants to collaborate, I can easily add them to the document and start a conversation!
