We're constantly looking for ways to make you more efficient within Living Spec.

While it's super convenient to have a task open on the side beside the current page and its contents, it can be a bit tedious to assign tasks, update the status and priority and more on the side panel.

It's been possible for a while to control some features of a task within the in-page feature chip, but now you can also assign a task to someone directly from the feature chip!

Simply press on the + icon, avatar, or count (depending on how many users are already assigned) and start assigning tasks to your team members. You can also update the status and priority of the task from the feature chip.

We'll keep looking for ways to make Living Spec tasks less taxing and more efficient for you and your team. Let us know if you have any suggestions!
