Just like your text updates, your drawings in Living Spec grow and change with your work. Whether you're adding features, updating interfaces, changing the project scope, or doing maintenance, you can update your drawings easily.
Plus, no need to worry about version control dilemmas. Everything you draw syncs automatically. Your drawings are always available to you and those you share them with. Access and edit them on any device, anytime, without confusion. In the future, we'll allow you to roll back changes similar to the activity feature on other Living Spec pages.
Cross-Referencing
Connect your words and drawings
Because your drawings in Living Spec are integrated within your spec, you can view and interact with them alongside other project details. Track activities, access context maps, and add tags to your drawings, just like with tasks, pages, and files.
In the future, you’ll be able to link elements in your drawings to specific tasks, pages, and more within Living Spec. This will keep your visual components connected to relevant content, making updates and navigation even easier. You'll also soon be able to add an annotation layer on top of image files.
You'll also have access to a library of additional shapes, such as UI elements and state diagram shapes, giving you more options to easily collaborate. We have several other ideas on the roadmap, but let us know if we're missing anything you need!
